AL3 Lab and ALRC at AERA in NYC! Congrats to Mary Fernandes on her Early Career Award!
Along with the ALRC, the lab presented two posters at AERA in NYC for the Adult Literacy and Adult Education SIG. Mary Fernandes was honored with an Early Career Research Award for her paper entitled, "Exploring the Independent and Interactive Effects of Metalinguistic Skills on Decoding with Struggling Adult Readers". Congratulations, Mary!!

Dr. Tighe recognized as a Finalist for the IES Outstanding Pre-Doctoral Fellow Award!
